Culver’s, a Wisconsin-based restaurant chain known for its butter burgers and frozen custards, is coming to two locations on opposite ends of Lakeland, The Ledger reports. One will front the Fort Fraser Trail in Highland City along U.S. 98 at Clubhouse Road; the other will be on U.S. 98 north of I-4 near Walmart and Sam’s Club. The separate franchisees hope to open by the end of the year.

  1. Culvers will offer an upgraded option for fast, fresh food and great ice cream. I’m glad that north Lakeland is getting an upgrade to the run of the mill fast food chains.
