A scheduled closure of the North Florida Avenue railroad crossing for construction has been postponed, the city of Lakeland announced on Instagram.

The crossing is between Pine Street and Main Street.

The closure was “part of a phased construction schedule to improve critical infrastructure along the CSX rail line,” the city of Lakeland had said in a news release.
