At LkldNow, we believe you can’t be a force for transparency without practicing it yourself. So I want to share that Robert Meyerowitz has stepped down as our editor after seven months.
Change in a small newsroom is never easy, but it also brings opportunity. This is a moment for us to reimagine how we work and what we cover, to evaluate what newsroom structure best suits our vision, while always keeping our mission front and center: to give you the news and information you need to stay informed, connected, and engaged in Lakeland life.
Also, you might have noticed we added a quick reader poll to the newsletter. There was a glitch in the last one — one question appeared in the newsletter and a different one in the poll. We’ve fixed the bug and are reposting the poll below.
Our small but mighty team is ready for this next chapter, and we’re grateful to have you with us. Together, we can keep building the hometown news source Lakeland deserves.
