Ride Out of the Darkness, a community motorcycle ride and fundraising event focused on suicide prevention and bringing awareness to mental health resources, returns to Lakeland this Saturday, Oct. 3.

The event, hosted by Love Surrounds You, brings community together to remember those that have been lost, support survivors and families, and remind people who may be struggling that they are not alone.

According to organizers, an estimated 2,000 to 3,000 people attended the event in 2025, which included approximately 96 vendors and 10 food trucks.

Proceeds from the event benefit Love Surrounds You’s scholarship fund for mental health support and the organization’s efforts to connect individuals and families to mental health resources and services.

Riders will depart the Auburndale Speedway at 10 a.m. on Saturday. The ride is fully escorted.

Participants will make their way to Hanger A on the Sun ‘n Fun expo campus for a rally, including food trucks, entertainment, music, over 90 vendors, and guest speakers, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
