Marking its 15th year in Lakeland, the Just Between Friends Consignment Sale will be held Sept. 25 to 27 at RP Funding Center, giving local families a way to save money on children’s items and earn money by selling them.
Just Between Friends (JBF), a nationwide network of children’s resale events with 166 locations in 33 states, allows families to buy and sell gently used children’s clothing, shoes, toys, books, baby gear, nursery furniture, and more.
General admission to JBF Lakeland is free, including parking.
More than 1,500 people attended last September’s event, according to JBF Lakeland owner Heather Lineberger, who expects a larger crowd this year at their 24,000-square-foot space. Items are priced 50% to 90% below retail.
“Families are trying to stretch their money,” Lineberger told LkldNow. “Parents tell us it’s become more difficult to provide everything their kids need when things cost so much more. We hear they’ve come to rely on this event.”
