Louella Clarke King – May 23, 1933 – June 11, 2020
Louella was born May 23, 1933 in Polk City, Florida. She came to Lakeland with her mother, Pearlie Mae Clarke.
She was a faithful member at Mount Pleasant A.M.E. Church where she served on several committees.. She was married to Van King Sr. who preceded her in death January 2010. During the 1960’s , she worked at Morrell Memorial Hospital which became Lakeland General Hospital and retired after 38 years of service as a Ward Clerk in the Emergency Room Division.
She is survived by her loving children, Van King Jr., Conchetia West, Rita King-Crosby, Reese (Janice) King, Terry King, Leehomer Simmons, Junior Boatwright, Quinton (Tekedra) Boatwright, Brandon (Kim) Boatwright and a host of grandkids & great grandkids, niece, Cecilye (Jeff) Love and nephew, Cecil (Wendy) Clarke, Jr.
