Rhonda Lee Grubb Beswick, 89

Rhonda Lee Grubb Beswick, aged 89, went to be with her Lord Savior Jesus on June 29, 2025, in Lakeland, FL. She was born on May 16, 1936, in Portsmouth, Ohio to Norman and Dorothy Grubb.

She was a resident of Lakeland since the age of 12 and a graduate of Lakeland High School. She was predeceased by her husband, Bob, in 2020. At the time of his death, they had been married 63 years.

Rhonda was beloved by her large family and was known for her hospitality, her joy of preparing family meals, her love of decorating and creating a warm home for her family. Her home was a beautiful and welcoming place, which was reflective of her.

She is survived by her five children: Lisa McLeod (Cliff) of Charleston, SC; Mark Beswick (Marti) of Lakeland; Julie McBride (Scott) of Lakeland; Cindy Winkler (Bill) of Peoria, Illinois; and Bryan Beswick (Anna) of Arcadia, FL. She also leaves behind 12 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

She has one surviving sister, Sharon Angelle (Haines City, FL) and is predeceased by 3 other siblings.

A graveside service will be held at Lakeland Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 9:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, Rhonda’s favorite ministries were VISTE, Gospel Inc., and A Woman’s Choice.
