
Deborah Lynn Carlisle, known affectionately as “Ms. Debbie,” who departed this life on July 9, 2026. Born on March 18, 1955, in Jackson, Mississippi, Deborah was a beacon of love, kindness, and unwavering faith. Deborah was the cherished daughter of Robert and Kathline Creel, who preceded her in death, along with her devoted husband, Larry, her beloved daughter, Cynthia, and four siblings. Despite these profound losses, Deborah’s spirit remained resilient and filled with love for her family and friends.
Deborah is survived by her loving children, Roberta Guity, Deborah Campbell, Tammy Carlisle, and Billy Carlisle, who were the pride of her life. Her legacy continues through her 11 adored grandchildren: Tericka, Trinity, Elizabeth, Nick, Tye, Jeremy, Joycelynn, Zach, Hannah, Kinley, and Brady. Her great-grandchildren, including Trenton and Sutton, brought immeasurable joy to her days, as did her numerous extended great-grandchildren. Deborah shared a special bond with her brother, Johnny, and his wife Virginia, who brought her laughter and comfort throughout her life. Her closest friends, Janet and Earl, stood by her side as pillars of strength and companionship.
For over 30 years, Deborah dedicated her life to nurturing young minds as a pre-kindergarten teacher at Lake Wire Church of God and Excel Christian Academy. Known to her students as “Ms. Debbie,” she imparted wisdom, kindness, and a love for learning that touched countless lives. Her impact on the community was profound and enduring.
Deborah lived her faith with fervor and grace. Her hobbies included shopping, playing Bingo, and spending cherished moments with her grandchildren, who were her greatest joy. Deborah’s character was marked by her extraordinary kindness and generosity. She was a walking angel, known for giving her last dollar to someone in need and never turning anyone away. Her heart was the biggest, and to know her was truly to love her.
A viewing will be held on July 17, 2026, from 5-6pm with a celebration of Deborah’s life to be held at 6:00 p.m. at the Central Florida Casket Store and Funeral Chapel. Family and friends are invited to honor the memory of a remarkable woman who touched so many with her love, faith, and compassion.
