Ronnie Groover, 73, of Lakeland, Florida, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Lakeland Regional Hospital. He was born on April 11, 1952, in Pensacola, Florida, to Maude Frances Ryals and Robert Osborne Groover.

Ronnie was married to Marie “Karla” Groover, and they resided in Lakeland. He worked at Joyner Lumber and VISTE. Ronnie enjoyed cooking, fishing, bonfires, and loved the Buccaneers. Most of all, he loved his family.

He was an avid member of All Saints Episcopal Church, where he and Karla served as lectors and Lay Eucharistic Visitors (LEV).

Ronnie is survived by his wife, Marie Karla Groover; his three sons, John Eberhardt; Michael and Samnang Eberhardt; and Andrew and Misty Eberhardt; and his only grandchild, Cheyne Eberhardt. He is also survived by his siblings, Joe Edmondson, Frances Dubose, Cheryl Pollock, and Rick Groover.

A service will be held on March 21, 2026, at 1 p.m. at All Saints Episcopal Church, 202 S. Massachusetts Ave., Lakeland, FL 33801.
