Billy Lawrence Pacher Jr., age 40, of Lakeland, Florida, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Billy was born and raised in Gulfport, Mississippi, and graduated from St. John High School in 2004. He went on to proudly serve his country as a medic in the United States Navy from 2005 to 2009, completing two tours overseas in Iraq. His time in the Navy was an important part of his life, and the comrades he served alongside remained near and dear to his heart throughout the years. After his time in the Navy, he went on to earn his college degree. Billy was a proud University of Central Florida Alumnus, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology.

Billy was the beloved son of Jean Pacher and Billy Pacher Sr. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Emily Pacher, and a loving father to his daughter, Avry Pacher. His siblings include: Bradley and Alana Pacher, Benjamin Pacher, and Briana and Greg Kurth.

His daughter was the light of his life. Some of Billy’s happiest memories were made taking Avry to Disney and watching her experience the magic through her eyes.

Billy had a personality that was impossible to forget. He was funny, loving, kind, and hardworking. He took great pride in his work and always gave his best. He had a special gift making people feel comfortable and at ease with him. His humor always brought smiles to those around him.

Family meant everything to Billy. He shared a special bond with each of his siblings. He was also a loving uncle to his three nieces and three nephews, and treasured the time he spent with them.

Billy especially loved the holiday season. He cherished the time when family came together, and the memories made during those moments will remain a part of his family’s hearts forever.

He also leaves behind his beloved fur babies, Titan and Buddy, who were an important part of his life.

Billy will be remembered not only for the life he lived, but for the way he made people feel. He had a way of bringing laughter into a room, making people feel welcome, and creating memories that will be carried on by those who loved him. Though his life was far too short, the love he gave and the lives he touched will never be forgotten.

Billy leaves behind a lifetime of memories and a family who will carry his love with them always. His strength and his loving heart will live on through his daughter, his wife, his parents, his siblings, his friends, and all those fortunate enough to have known him.

Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever in our hearts.
