Sunnye Harrison won recognition for the landscaping outside her Lake Morton bungalow. “All I do for my lawn is water it and pay for it,” quipped Harrison after introducing her landscaper, Andrew Partain.
Commercial Award: The Shoppes at Lake Miriam Crossing
Brian West of Publix Supermarkets accepted the award saying, “We love the city of Lakeland. Lakeland is our home, and we’re very grateful to be receiving this award.”

The Beautification Board of the city of Lakeland awards certificates of merit to citizens or places of business in Lakeland who have made certain improvements to their property that contribute to the overall beauty of the city.
