With the increased growth in Polk and Hillsborough County over the last couple years, Lakeland-based Bank of Central Florida is continuing its expansion into Hillsborough county with a new loan production office, or LPO, in Brandon.
The bank’s mission in 2026 is to serve others on their financial journey through intentional support and a collaborative relationship.
“Bank of Central Florida’s ability to continue to grow and expand our presence in East Hillsborough County reflects the acceptance of our operating model and our commitment to our client experience,” said CEO and Board Chairman Paul Noris. “With more than $1.2 billion in assets, the Bank’s organic, client-focused strategy fulfills the bank’s commitment to the markets we serve.”
Centrally located in the heart of Brandon, the loan production office helps clients with market products, credit applications, and loan closings.
Meet the team
With the new office addition in Hillsborough County, Tampa Bay Market Executive Lauren Fernandez is enthusiastic about the expansion so her team can continue building strong connections. She is grateful to be a witness and partner to the ongoing growth in west-central Florida, and is ready to aid in the area’s progress and success.

As an integral part of Fernandez’s team, East Hillsborough Team Leader Robert Cobb is leading the new office. With his extensive knowledge of the local community and commercial lending, Cobb is equipped and ready to connect with clients so he can provide the personalized solutions they need.
With the help of Cobb and Commercial Relationship Manager Jeff Campbell, clients have a convenient location available for their business’s financial needs.
What to Know About the Brandon Office
What is the difference between an LPO and a branch office?
An LPO focuses on market loans and related activities involved with loan management. A branch office provides services where money is lent or deposits are received.

Some of the most common activities at an LPO include the following:
- Assisting clients with loan applications or similar documents
- Educating clients about commercial mortgages or loan information
- Providing loan services that do not involve money being lent or deposits being accepted
What services are not provided at an LPO?
Some services that cannot be provided at an LPO include:
- Paying withdrawals or checks
- Accepting deposits
- Distributing or lending money or loan funding
- Opening deposit accounts
- Accessing safe-deposit boxes
Are appointments required for clients to come to the office?
For efficient service, reaching out to the Relationship Management team for inquiries before coming to the office is highly encouraged.
To contact the office, clients can call (813) 409-3600 or contact their Relationship Management team directly with immediate requests or questions.
Is there an ATM at the new office?
