James Lowell Turlington, 74, born September 11, 1945 to James Chandler (J.C.) and Louise Lawson Turlington, went home to be with his precious Lord and Savior on August 3, 2020. He was a native of Auburndale, Florida and a Navy Veteran, serving aboard the U.S.S. Carronade in Vietnam.

He was predeceased by his parents, daughter, Ashley, brother and sister-in-law, Oscar S. and Glenda Turlington, brother-in-law, Jay Etchison, niece, Karen Turlington Grice, and nephew, Steve Turlington.

He is survived by his wife, Charlene, and son, Darren, sister, Sylvia Etchison, brother-in-law, Victor (Rise) Newton, niece, Krisha (Jon) Turlington Parker, nephews Kelvin (Darlean) Etchison and Terry Turlington, and several great nieces and nephews.

A grave side service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, August 10, 2020 at Oak Hill Burial Park, US 98 S., Lakeland. If attending, face masks are required.
