The 114-year-old building at the northwest corner of Main Street and Tennessee Avenue is about to change hands.

Katherine (Katy) Martinez announced on Friday that she is selling the property at 122 E. Main Street to Cory Petcoff, owner of Baron Realty.

The building, painted a distinctive mint green, houses My Office & More, Divicious Deli and Coffee Shop, the Bodega Market, and the Studio on Main hair salon. Petcoff will continue to operate My Office & More as a business service center.

Martinez bought the building in 2015 and developed the shared office space. LkldNow had its first office there.  My Office & More enables start-ups, innovators, and entrepreneurs to establish a business address and create a professional presence, without the costly overhead costs of purchasing or renting private offices.

“I have always said that communities thrive when their local small businesses thrive,” Martinez said in a press release. “I have made it my mission — and my passion — to give entrepreneurs the tools they need to work productively, have premium visibility, and make the best professional impression possible to current and prospective customers. I am proud of what we have accomplished, and I know the business will continue to thrive under Cory’s ownership and leadership.”

As Owner and President of Baron Realty, Cory Petcoff currently manages over 1.2 million square feet of office, industrial, and retail properties.

“I am so impressed with what Katy built from scratch 9 years ago,” Mr. Petcoff commented. “Like her, we love Lakeland and the innovative businesses that are grown here. We are excited to continue the momentum that has already been established and we will look for ways to take the concept to the next level.”

The sale will be finalized on Monday, April 1.
