Representatives from Citrus Connection, Lakeland Volunteers in Medicine, and community partners gathered to celebrate the launch of LVIM’s new Universal Access Program, which provides fare-free public transit for patients across Polk County. The yearlong pilot partnership aims to expand access to health care, work, and daily essentials by connecting patients to Citrus Connection’s fixed-route system.
