On Tuesday, Aug. 18, the Florida Polytechnic University men’s soccer team will take the field at 7 p.m. for the first official game in Florida Poly Athletics history.
Men’s soccer is the first of eight new Phoenix teams set to compete this year, according to a press release.
The Phoenix will face the Webber International University Warriors at the Orlando Health Stadium inside of the Lake Myrtle Sports Complex in Auburndale.
Pregame festivities begin at 5 p.m. and will include a tailgate on the lawn and ceremonial remarks from Florida Poly leadership, including President Devin Stephenson and Athletic Director Derek Lower.
Florida Poly added over 100 student-athletes for this inaugural year, according to the university.
