Rep. Jennifer Canady, R-Fla., will hold mobile office hours in Lakeland on Wednesday, May 20, from 10 a.m. to noon.
Mobile office hours are held on the third Wednesday of each month at the main branch of the Lakeland Public Library at 100 Lake Morton Drive.

Constituents are invited to walk in and make their voice heard. No appointments are necessary to discuss legislative issues, receive assistance with state agencies, or share ideas that can help strengthen the community.
District staff will be available on-site to assist with issues related to state services, including unemployment, professional licensing, veterans’ benefits, child and family services, transportation matters, and more.
“My goal is to make state government as accessible and responsive as possible,” Canady said in a statement. “By holding regular mobile office hours at the Lakeland Public Library, we’re creating an easy, welcoming way for residents to meet with our team, share concerns and get help navigating state programs. I look forward to hearing directly from the people I serve.”
Canady, a Republican, has represented Florida’s 50th district in the House of Representatives since 2022. District 50 encompasses the most of city of Lakeland and portions of Polk County. She serves as the chair of the Education and Employment Committee and is a member of the Budget, the Rules and Ethics, and the Security and Threat Assessment committees.
