Tommy Lee Smith was born August 6, 1957 to the late Booker T. Smith and Willow Wease Smith. He was reared and lived his lifetime in Medulla, FL where he and his family were members of St. John Primitive Baptist Church in Medulla. He loved life and of course his family. He was educated in the Polk County public schools where he was a spirited athlete participating in Basketball, Football and Track at Southwest and Kathleen High School. During his escapades and throughout adulthood, he had a lifelong best friend, Tony Fisher. They kept up with one another until the end.

Tommy worked at many companies as a craftman but was employed for many years with P & M Construction and the City of Lakeland. Tommy will be remembered, missed and loved for his thirst for life, fun-loving, friendly and joyful spirit. On July 19th, he was called home to meet the Lord.

He leaves to cherish his memories; a loving family, his brothers, Robert F. Smith (Renee) of Brandon and Michael J. Smith (Shirley) of Lakeland; cousins, Elder John Smith, Jr (Anne) of Medulla ; his best friend, Tony Fisher and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

Condolences may be sent to the family at Oldham Funeral Home.
