Tinley Adams, 9, passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2022.

Tinley Elizabeth Adams was born on January 16, 2013. She entered into the arms of Christ on March 13, 2022. Tinley is survived by her mother April Hiatt (husband – James Hiatt), her father Ryan Adams (wife – Ashley Adams), her sister Raelyn Adams, step brothers Bryce, Connor, Mylo, and step sisters Ariel, Aurora, and Elsa. Tinley is also survived by her grandparents Richard Mueller and Len and Mary Ward, David Adams and Joanna Clevenger, her uncles Chad Adams (Connie Anderson), Justin Adams (wife – Gennie Adams), her aunt Candace Lamkin, and great grandparents Jakob and Priscilla Mueller. Tinley is preceded in death by great grandparents Richard and Violet Adams.

Tinley lived a more vibrant life in nine years than most do in an entire lifetime. She loved staying active whether it was cheerleading, or gymnastics, or just playing with her friends and her pets. Above all she loved her family. She also loved all of her friends and there were many. She is the one who never met a stranger. She had a unique talent to engage in conversation with anyone who would listen and she loved to tell her story. Simply put, she was a bright shining light in a dark world.

Almost a year ago Tinley began a fight against brain cancer. She fought hard and did so with grace and dignity, never complaining and never giving up on her healing. On Sunday morning, March 13, Tinley finished her race. In her brave fight she won the victory against cancer. She ran her race and took all of the rest of us for the ride of our lives. We will miss her greatly and look forward to that great reunion day in heaven….and we know….she will be cheering us on.

All friends and family are invited to attend the funeral and celebration of her life at Victory Church at 1401 Griffin Rd., Lakeland FL on Friday, March 18th. Viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. with service to follow at 11 a.m. There will be a graveside service at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Homes-Serenity Gardens 3350 Mall Hill Dr. Condolences may be sent to the family at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Homes.
