Last week, The Ledger reported that a mystery buyer had put in an unsolicited bid to buy the Lakeland Association of Realtors headquarters at 820 S. Florida Ave.  Now it turns out the wannabe purchaser is Florida Southern College. LAR members vote Wednesday on the proposed sale. City officials recently smoothed the way for the college to turn land near the LAR building into parking for nearby dorms on Lake Morton.
