Ruby Scott Boehm, 90

Ruby Scott Boehm, 90, was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who lost her battle with breast cancer on April 5, 2022, at her home in Lakeland, FL. Born on May 21, 1931, in DeFuniak Springs, FL to Emmitt and Arlene Wells. She moved to Lakeland, FL as a child with her family.

Here she attended Lakeland High School. Along with her mother, Arlene, she fostered many children in her early years until her marriage to her husband Robert. She was a devoted home maker and took pride in caring for her family.

She is survived by her children Genie (Monte) Smith Belgrade MT, Robbie (Judy) Boehm Lakeland, FL, Evelyn (Earl) Dowdy Plant City, FL. Grandchildren Jennifer (Jason) Fennema NV, April (Tom) Clark NV, Tyler Smith NV, Kyle Boehm FL, Morgan Dowdy FL. She will be missed by her great grandchildren Garret, Nathen, Faith, Cooper, Gage and Liam and many nieces and nephews.

She preceded in death by her husband Robert Boehm and all 10 siblings (Millard, Alva, Merle, Estelle, Flora, Lee, Ed, Gene, and Lola.)

Celebration of life will be held at Heath Funeral Chapel on April 12, 2022, with visitation at 10 a.m. followed by the service at 11 a.m. Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. will be her final resting place. Condolences may be sent to the family at Heath Funeral Chapel.
