Robert L. Akins, 92

Robert L. Akins passed away on December 11, 2020. Mr. Akins was born on June 29, 1928 in Covington, Kentucky. He served in the U.S. Army and afterwards he worked as a Supervisor at Lincoln Electric in Cleveland, Ohio for 33 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Delores B. Akins; brother Fred Akins; and his sister Mary Moses. He is survived by daughters Bonnie Brown, and Debera Friedberg; sister Virginia Hinkle; three grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 16th from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M. at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home Southside Chapel with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
