HEALTH CARE: Tops execs at Lakeland Regional Health say the GOP health care bills would curtail access to preventive care and disable the hospital’s ability to upgrade technology.

SEU: Southeastern University’s student development veep, Chris Owen, became the public face of Grady Judd’s effort to arm staff against potential active shooters when he was deputized as a “sentinel” on Monday. The other eight SEU employees who went through the training were sworn in privately to maintain anonymity, a key element of the program, according to Judd.
