- DOWNTOWN: With new distancing and hygiene measures in place now that they’ve reopened, downtown businesses are welcoming customers as restaurateurs say take-out will stay important until they can seat more diners.
- COUNTY AID: With a $126 million federal grant to distribute for COVID-19 relief, county commissioners have agreed to use $40 million for small-business relief and $30 million to help families who suffered economic loss. The county manager is working on plans to spend another $30 million on PPE and testing for the disease and $26 million to recover disease-related economic losses by local government and schools
