BUILDING HEIGHTS: Builders will have leeway to construct taller commercial and office structures in central Lakeland, city commissioners decided Monday, but they are waiting a few weeks to decide whether to allow higher apartments in residential areas.

HEALTH: A partnership between Lakeland Regional Health and the YMCA of West Central Florida is sponsoring weekly Wednesday morning walks around Lake Hollingsworth and free, low-impact fitness classes at the Y at 11:15 a.m. the fourth Saturday of the month.
