Children are ready to return to Polk County preschools and child-care centers, but owners are having trouble finding workers and more than 200 positions are unfilled, Fox 13 News reports. A $4 million federal grant to the Early Learning Coalition of Polk County will give some financial relief to owners, but it’s a short-term solution, the organization’s director says.
