Museum Announces 2018 Mayfaire Art Winners

CurrierRichard Currier of the Brevard County beachside community of Micco won the best of show award at Mayfaire by-the-Lake, the Polk Museum of Art at Florida Southern College announced this afternoon.

An oil painter who favors dramatic imagery, Currier was awarded a $5,000 prize.

Mayfaire-by-the-Lake continues Sunday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. on the shores of Lake Morton. Tonight’s Mayfaire Saturday Night from 5:30 until 11 includes music, food trucks, fireworks and a 5k race.
