Mr. James W. Goodwin, Sr., 79

Mr. James W. Goodwin, Sr. went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 18, 2021. He was born in Columbus, OH. James retired after many years as a sales director with R&L Carriers.

He was an active member at Lake Gibson Nazarene Church in Lakeland where he served as a board member, the Finance Committee, a Head Usher and Sunday School Teacher. James was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra “Debbie”. Survivors include his wife, Janice; children, James, Jr., Robert “Bob”, Deanna “Dee”; sister, Becky; 8 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, 1 P.M. to 2 P.M. at Lake Gibson Nazarene Church in Lakeland. Services to begin at 2:00 P.M. Interment will take place in Columbus, OH. Arrangements by Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home at Serenity Gardens.
