CSX plans to block two more rail crossings along Bartow Road for maintenance later this month: Ingraham Road the week of April 18 and South Crystal Drive the following week. 

Those were the two intersections that remained open a few weeks ago when rail work at other intersections along U.S. 98/Bartow Road blocked intersections and snarled traffic. The work was scheduled to end the day before Good Friday but was extended to the day after Easter.

The city of Lakeland announced the CSX work on its Facebook page. (We’re not sure if the exclamation point in the first sentence is excitement or sarcasm.)
