L. Paulette Broadhead, age 69, passed away on August 14, 2020 in Lakeland, Florida.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home, with Dr. Davis of New Life Assembly, officiating. Burial will follow at 11:00 am Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at Brightwater Cemetery in Butler, Alabama. Arrangements are by Bumpers Funeral Home.
Paulette was born in Prattville, Alabama to Grace and Robert Mitchell on July 16, 1951. She married Larry Broadhead on August 22, 1971 and served alongside him in ministry for over 25 years. She was a loving mother and grandmother, adored by so many family and friends. Many will remember her for her God-given talent to minister through the piano. Despite her quiet and meek personality, she managed to touch many lives through her gentle spirit and love for Christ.
Paulette was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Broadhead, her father, Robert Mitchell, her mother and father in law, Hilliard and Martha Broadhead, along with many other friends and family. She is survived by her three daughters, Lindsay Morris, Lauren Thomas, and Leigh Rose, her mother, Grace Mitchell, and her nine grandchildren.
Flowers can be sent to Bumpers Funeral Home in Butler, Alabama or in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to missions through her church, New Life Assembly of God in Lakeland, Florida, in her honor.
