For Valentine’s Day, a cabaret-style show at LkldLive Friday features romantic songs of the jazz and swing era (preview video). Similar to the Johnny Cash, British Invasion and Elvis tributes he produced at the Polk Theatre, Executive Director Shane Lawlor has assembled an eclectic and talented bunch of Lakeland musicians for the review. Also, the ISO celebrates Valentine’s Day Tuesday with a Romantic Symphony concert. And an invitation-only crowd gets to hear Trisha Yearwood at Lakeland Regional Health’s 100th anniversary gala Saturday night. (She substituted after previous headliner John Legend was selected to perform at the Grammy Awards Sunday.) See more local music listings after the jump.
