I asked millennial music maven Megan about which local shows we should highlight this weekend. I’m going to go with her text response and add some hyperlinks. The music calendar (newly updated by Megan) follows.

I’ve been hearing a lot of buzz on the Radiohead tribute at LkldLive Saturday, so that should be a good one.

“Abbey Road” tribute at the RP Funding Center on Friday (by Classic Albums Live will obviously have a large draw.

The September Maddox Local Jam on Saturday features CMPNY of ANMLs, Comin’ Home, PhysEd, Space Panda, The Henleys, and a surprise act to be announced at the event.

Have Gun Will Travel and Spirit and the Cosmic Heart are at Union Hall on Saturday. Both are locals but (audiences are) very passionate about those acts.

Lastly, Chelsea Margaret’s quarterly ladies showcase, Sirens 3, (Saturday at Pink Piano) normally has quite the draw with live painters and poets throughout and in between each set.
