Rebecca “Becky” Lynn Sherman, age 58, of Lakeland, FL, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2023. She was born on September 16, 1964, in Clinton, Massachusetts to Richard and Jeanet (Dittmer) Schaumburg. Becky was an Inventory Analyst for Publix at the LV Warehouse with 22 years of service.

Becky was a dedicated mother and grandmother first and foremost but especially loved her role as Mimi. She was not afraid of hard work; she went above and beyond to provide for her family and would give anything she had to make others feel special. She truly had a giver’s heart with one passion being cooking desserts for her work family and friends, especially at the holidays. She loved her dogs and grand dogs, maybe even more than her children, and passionately donated to dog rescue organizations.

Becky is survived by her daughters, Heather Colding (Dana) and Miranda Sherman; grandsons, Landon Sherman and Oliver Bagby; granddaughter, Kynzlee Capper; sister, Lisa DeLand of Zephyrhills, FL; nieces April DeLand and Brandy Parrish; nephew, Lee DeLand of Lake City, FL, and her many beloved dog “babies”. She was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Jeanet (Dittmer) Schaumburg.
