Paddy Ann McClelland Bridges, 88

Paddy Ann McClelland Bridges passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023. She was born in Lakeland, FL., on January 8, 1935, to the late Hiram Woodard McClelland and Rose Margaret Vetzel.

Paddy was a graduate of Kathleen High School. She was part of a Christian Singing Group known as ”The Melody Three”, Paddy worked as a Bank Teller, mother, and home maker.

She was a lifetime resident of Lakeland, FL., in Polk County, and a member of Together Church, although she was home bound at the end.

Paddy is preceded in death by her husband (Charlie Leslie Bridges, 81 years old), her brother (David Lee McClelland, 91 years old), and her oldest son (Stephen David Bridges, 56 years old) all of Lakeland, FL.

She is survived by her two daughters, Kathy and Mary; son, Bob; six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023, at 2:30 p.m. at Heath Funeral Chapel, 328 South Ingraham Avenue, Lakeland, FL 33801, with services to follow at 3 p.m.

Interment at Oak Hill Burial Park, 4620 US Highway 98 South, Lakeland, FL 33812.
