Leon Tucker, 46, has been named executive editor of The Ledger, the newspaper reports. Tucker, who grew up in St. Petersburg, returns to Florida and journalism after spending the last seven years practicing public relations in Delaware and Washingon, D.C. He will be the first Black top editor in the 96-year history of the Lakeland-based, Gannett-owned newspaper. | LinkedIn profile
