Learie C. St. Paul Williams was the first-born child of Leonard Williams and Eugenie Bogle on March 6th, 1964. Affectionately known to all as Paul, his early childhood years were spent in Trinity Ville, St. Thomas, where he attended Seaforth High School until he migrated to the United State and continued and graduated from Midwood High School in Brooklyn, New York. After High School he studied mechanics at Apex Technical School. He later relocated to Jacksonville, FL where he spent most of his adult life.
As early as 12 years old, Paul had a great curiosity and a natural ability for the intricacies of vehicles. He had a great love and appreciation for all vehicles, especially cars. He would spend countless hours working on a vehicle. No job was too small or big. He reveled in the entire process, perfecting his skills. Paul lived and breathe his craft, sometime referring to the surgical pins from his surgery, due to his accident in 2015 as “parts”.
Paul will truly be missed for his warm beautiful and inviting smile, loving spirit and a kind heart, and a memory that was long as his life. Paul entered eternal rest on Tuesday, October 6th, 2020.
He is survived by an extensive loving family and friends who have been a tremendous support through the most difficult times in last years. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving family which includes children, Darryl (Ennice), Jahrail (Joy), Lennard, daughters, Avonda (Fred) and Rochelle and several grandchildren; Father Leonard (Claire), siblings Lavern, David (Audrey), Roger , Dion, Derrick, Andrea and Kevin and step brothers and sisters, and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews and Cousins and precious friends.
Condolences may be sent to the family at Oldham Funeral Home.
