The Lakeland Magic keep on rolling. After a small hiccup against the Stockton Kings, the Magic picked up three more wins last week with local tryout Jeremiah Hill netting a personal record 30 points against the Maine Red Claws.

The Florida Tropics continued their Midwest road trip against No. 1 Milwaukee Wave. Even though the Tropics tried as hard as they could to endure the Wave attack, they lost 4-8.

Moving outdoors, the Lakeland Christian and George Jenkins men’s soccer teams played in their regional semifinals. George Jenkins fell to Celebration but Lakeland Christian managed a 1-0 win over Melbourne Holy Trinity to advance to the finals where they will play against Highlands Christian.

The FSC women’s basketball team suffered their first loss this season against Embry-Riddle. The FSC baseball team won 3-0 in a  no-hitter against Eckerd.

At Southeastern University, the women’s basketball team’s victory over Thomas University on Saturday clinched their fourth consecutive regular-season Sun Conference title.
