Lakeland Regional Health has joined a nationwide study seeking ways to prevent blood clots in COVID-19 patients, ABC Action News reports. The hospital is seeking participants age 40 and older who were diagnosed with the infection in the last 10 to 14 days but weren’t hospitalized and weren’t using a blood thinner.
