Two residents and two employees went to the hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation when smoke from a rooftop fire sunk into the 10 stories below, The Ledger reported. About 100 displaced residents have been transported to the RP Funding Center by Lake Morton Plaza management, according to the Lakeland Fire Department. Delays left residents’ families “fed up,” News Channel 8 says.
