Despite high unemployment in Polk County, Keymark Corp. says it is having trouble recruiting workers for its aluminum extrusion plant in north Lakeland, News Channel 8 reports. One of the barriers: Some people enjoying unemployment benefits and stimulus payments don’t realize those are temporary, the plant’s safety manager says.
