Joan Frances Warnock, 85

Joan Frances Warnock, age 85, passed away on February 7, 2021 in Lakeland, FL.  Joan was born on June 7, 1935 in Yonkers, NY. 

She was a wonderful friend, mother, grandmother and wife to Henry Warnock Sr before his passing in 2014.  Joan dedicated her life to the intellectually disabled; helping to form several non-profit organizations and giving immeasurable hours to assisting with community activities and independent living. After moving to Florida, she became a founding member of Noah’s Ark of Lakeland and spent the remainder of her life giving aid in any and every way possible.

Joan is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Warnock Sr; daughter, Colleen McCarthy; brothers, Allen and Kenneth Cowan.
Joan is survived by children; Eileen Castellano, Henry Warnock Jr and William Warnock; grandchildren, Erin McCarthy, Jamie Warnock, Kevin Warnock and Bryan Warnock and 3 great grandchildren.

Condolences may be sent to the family at Central Florida Funeral Chapel.
