Just weeks after celebrating his 109th birthday Jan. 2 at Lake Morton Plaza, Ike Newcomer died on Friday. He was believed to be among the 10 oldest men in the U.S. Newcomer, a native of Hershey, Pa., moved to Florida in 1952 and became a homebuilder, according to a recent Ledger feature.
