A fatal accident on I-4 near County Line Road Monday afternoon serves as a chilling reminder of the importance for drivers to move over a lane when passing emergency vehicles with lights flashing, a Florida DOT road ranger says. He was slightly injured, but the 72-year-old Apopka driver who rammed the back of his truck died and the driver’s wife suffered critical injuries.
