Hollis “Ray” Alexander, 81, died December 13, 2020.

Born in Double Springs, Alabama on April 25, 1939 to the late Boyd and Lydia Alexander, his family moved to Florida where he attended Hardee High School in Wauchula, and met his wife of 60 years, Joyce Alexander. Ray served a 30-year career at National Linen Service. After retirement, Ray worked with his son, Michael for more than 10 years at Alexander Air Conditioning until his children convinced him to retire at age 80! He is survived by his wife, Joyce, son Michael (Jennifer), daughter Pam Leiva (Sady), and grandson Alex Leiva (Caitlyn Bongiovi).

Visitation will be Fri., Dec. 18, 2020 at 10 A.M., followed by a service at 11 A.M. at Gentry-Morrison Southside Chapel, 1727 Bartow Road, Lakeland. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Burial Park
