Henrietta “Jean” Mease, age 98, of Lakeland, FL, formerly of Kalamazoo, MI passed away on March 14, 2021.

Henrietta was born on August 7, 1922 in Kalamazoo, MI to Arthur and Alma Sears. She was united in marriage on August 19, 1945 to her second husband, Frank. Jean loved to socialize and would talk with anyone who would listen.  She loved to dance and in her later years she played bingo, she loved the crowds and just being out with people. Jean moved to Lakeland, FL in 2003.

Jean is preceded in death by her husband, Frank in 1978; sister Myrtle Dornak; two grandsons, Rick and Nick Sabo; brother Warren Sears and son Louis Sabo. Jean is survived by children, daughter, Barbara Hahn and son Todd Mease; five grandchildren, Tim, Jason, Kurt, Colin and Justin.

Jean will be laid to rest near her husband at Mount Ever Rest Memorial Park in Kalamazoo, MI. Condolences may be sent to the family at Central Florida Funeral Chapel.
