Health Department Head: Polk Has 60 Contract Tracers and Needs More

Polk’s Health Department has 60 coronavirus contract tracers and needs more to keep up with the surge in cases, department director Joy Jackson tells News Channel 8. Each conversation with a new patient to determine who they had close contact with in the days prior to symptom onset can take up to an hour, and the goal is for each tracer to conduct eight to 10 investigations a day | ALSO: ABC Action News
