Alumni from Harrison School for the Arts are coming together for a benefit concert on Saturday at 7 p.m. in the Harrison main theatre.
From a news release:
Graduates of Polk County’s first school for the visual and performing arts will showcase their talents in a public performance to raise funds for the Harrison Alumni Relations Committee’s Legacy Scholarship.
The Harrison Alumni Recital will feature performances and works by alumni of the school in theatre, voice, dance, instrumental music, and the visual arts.
“We are excited to highlight the works of alumni spanning the school’s 26-year history and from each of the four major disciplines,” said Haley Spark Pereira, event chair and 1997 graduate of the vocal department.
Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for students and seniors, and are available online or 6 p.m. Saturday at the box office in the theatre lobby before the show.
Proceeds from the recital will support the Harrison Legacy Scholarship, which will be awarded to a graduating senior.
