Gregory Leon Adams, 54

Gregory Leon Adams was born September 22, 1966 to William Gatlin and the late Shirley Ruth Allen; who preceded him in death. He also had four siblings to precede him in death; George Adams, Keith and Kenny Gatlin and Hope Watson. He was baptized at New Mt. Zion M.B. Church and was a faithful member.

He graduated from Kathleen Sr. High School, Class of 1985. He was employed by Publix Supermarkets Inc. of 36 years where he was a Department Head. His hobbies were spending time with his family, photography, hunting and fishing. He was a member of SD & D Motorcycle Club where he held the title Sergeant of Arms.

Gregory leaves behind his most cherished memories his devoted wife of 20 years Janice Adams; two daughters Grenique Adams (Charles), Shoniqua Adams, and One son Kenneth Williams Jr. (Nikkai), Two Grandchildren; Jameer Campbell and Chariah Butler and a grand-dog Bella Adams. Six sisters, Gwendolyn Adams, Kaprice Allen, Latronia Allen all of Lakeland, Fl. Cornelia Smith of Brandon, Fl. Shelfraa Flemming of Riverview, Fl. , Renedra Barksdale (Stan) of Lakeland, Fl., Sandra Sails (Kirk), Step Sister, Skyler Giles; Two step sisters Rachel Goodman (Deon) of Lakeland, Fl. And Rozonna Kinder of Adel, GA. Two Aunts; Sarah Stembridge (Willie) and Angela Collins both of Lakeland, Fl. Six Uncles: Franklin Adams (Shantay) of Bronx, N.Y. Sammuel Adams (Lorraine) Dennis Roman (Linda) of Lakeland, Fl. Eddie Roudolph (Vera) of Bartow, Fl. Ronnie and Alvin Collins, all of Lakeland, Fl. Father-in-law; Calvin Willis Sr. of Brooksville, Fl., Mother-in-law; Barbara Baylor Willis of Lakeland, Fl. Brother-in-law; Calvin Willis Jr. Of Atlanta, GA. And Sister-in-law; Jennifer Sanders (Anthony) of Lakeland, Fl. Long life friend; Bert Bates of Bartow, Fl. a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and his extended Publix family.

Visitation will be held at New Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church (1321 N Webster Avenue Lakeland, FL 33805) from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 16th. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 17th at New Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church (1321 N Webster Avenue Lakeland, FL 33805).
