A sculpture honoring electric linemen as first responders was unveiled today on a lawn between Lake Mirror and the Lakeland Electric headquarters. It was designed by three Lakeland High School students who won a competition sponsored by Platform Art. Check after the jump for a photo gallery from the event:
The statue was covered by a parachute prior to the unveiling.
