Gail Leann Ranauro (maiden name Albright), passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2021.

Gail moved to Lakeland in 1970 from Pretty Prairie, Kansas and has lived in the area for 51 years. She was a founding member of Outreach Baptist Church. Gail was a Registered Nurse and was working at Watson Clinic at her time of passing. Gail was a novelist who wrote and published several romance novels. She quilted, read, loved puzzles and gardening. She loved to bake. She loved spending time with her grandkids, who call her Nana.

Gail is survived by her husband Joseph Ranauro; daughter Rebecca (Jimmie) Champion; son Matthew (Rachelle) Ranauro, all of Lakeland; daughter Michelle (Gary) Pepitone of West Palm Beach, FL; and 4 grandchildren: 2 grandsons and 2 granddaughters. Gail is preceded in death by her parents Herman and Freida Albright and siblings Lola Dowell, Leetha Stanton and Vernon Albright.

A service for Gail will be held at 10 a.m. at Outreach Baptist Church on Saturday, September 25, 2021. Pastor Michael McCurdy will be officiating. Condolences may be sent to the family at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Homes.
